This pre-Beatles Gretsch is simply fantastic! Once the Beatles made Gretsch a house hold name, they had to really crank up production to meet the demand and the quality issues really put the company under...well this is before all that! This guitar was hand crafted in Brooklyn, NY and is truly a joy to play. I had trouble putting it down. This guitar is in excellent plus condition, and boasts a single Hi-LoTron single coil pick up which is a lot like a P90. This rare find comes with the original hard case which is in fine condition. At some point someone added a strap button. It was a professional job and makes it easier to play when standing. $1850.
