Chrissie Hynde's autobiography is outstanding! Bob Tims who was instrumental in establishing the Rock and Roll Library lent this to Charlene who passed it on to me and we both really liked it a lot! You don't have to be a Pretenders fan to enjoy this look at a truly exciting period in American History. Chrissie was a student at Kent State and gives us a unique inside perspective of the infamous tragedy that occurred there. Rolling Stone called the album "Pretenders" the "#13 Best Debut Album of All Time." Check it out at the Rock and Roll Library!
